BEHIND GEEKASAURUS

Geekasaurus is a silly little comic about a geeky family. Specifically, my geeky family, and all the antics and hijinks of my daughter. You’ll read along as we go on adventure after adventure, documenting the unexpected chuckles (and sometimes hard truths) along the way. As my husband and I learn to navigate being new parents, I’ll be sharing the hilarity, one comic at a time, updated every Wednesday morning at Geekasaurus.Net

To be honest, Geekasaurus all started in a moment. That’s it. I had no grand plan or crazy scheme here. As a writer and an artist, it was inevitable that I would combine my two favorite mediums into one. I am surprised that I didn’t start a webcomic a lot sooner. But here I am, muddling through and learning as I go along, adding a webcomic on to my already full plate of writing a novel and starting a professional art career. With comics, I’m learning as I go. And I want to share with you what I learn as I learn it.  

Maybe you’re a parent trying to juggle a million things at once and you could use a good laugh every once in a while. Maybe you’ve got an idea in the back of your head just itching to get out and you could use some inspiration. For everyone who wants to know how making a webcomic works, from start to finish, I will be sharing my journey with you. That includes all the ups and downs that go along with learning something new. I will share the successes AND failures to amuse you (and possibly help you) through whatever you’re working on or struggling with.
